It stands to reason that one of the key romantic scenes in El Paso's claim-to-fame blockbuster "Glory Road" takes place on Scenic Drive. It's a scene between characters Bobby Joe Hill and his future wife Tina Hill. Whether the real-life Hills actually parked it on this locally famous stretch of pavement, well, who knows, but our guess is yes. Since 1920 this special spot that stretches the rim of the Rocky Mountains, connecting Rim Road and Richmond streets, has been a Lover's Lane tradition. What makes it so romantic? Maybe that it holds one of the city's most stunning views overlooking two countries, two states and two cities ... that would make even the most unromantic pucker up.
