As much as things change, in some ways, they stay the same. This year's radio winner, Big Al Jones, is like morning nostalgia to many El Pasoans. The former KLAQ morning host returned to his hometown - where he got his start in radio 22 years ago - and took over 92.3 The Fox's airwaves in April of 2005. Company insiders tell us the show is tremendous and is one of the strongest they've ever had, although the humble Big Al says there's always room for change and improvement. His colleagues say he's a real down-to-earth guy and talks to listeners like he talks to his best friends. Of course Big Al doesn't host the show alone. His sidekick Marcus Mustafa Roosevelt helps out with sports and entertainment, Rod Worthington adds sophistication, and Swami Al reads horoscopes. Big Al also says this is the first time he's worked with a female host (Lorraine Austin). Check out Big Al weekdays from 6 - 10 a.m. on 92.3 FM.
