The Sun City has seen a recent surge in the number of bakeries dotting the landscape, but two-year-old Belle Sucre has competitors whipped. Chef Jonathan Bowden oversees a talented crew dedicated to crafting the finest pastries and breads in the region, some of which are featured on local restaurant menus. The breads, ranging from challah to French to sourdough, are baked daily in rotation. Delicate fruit tarts, creamy éclairs and crisp croissants sit beside an ever-changing array of cookies and macarons.
