El Paso Chihuahuas Kid's Day

Kids are also allowed to run the bases following Sunday games, just like their favorite Chihuahuas players.

Maybe it’s the food, maybe it’s the music, maybe it’s Chico – or maybe it’s the antics between innings, fireworks, giveaways and the kids zone. Maybe it’s simply the play on the field. Whatever it is, the El Paso Chihuahuas have been voted the Best Family Outing in the Sun City.

From their inception, the goal has always been to be the go-to venue for sports fans and their families.

“We always put the family first and are always trying to come up with new ways to entertain the kids and make the experience as fun for them as possible,” said Angela Olivas, director of marketing and communications for the Chihuahuas.

With a constant barrage of nightly promotions and quirky themes (think “A League of Their Own” and Lucha Libre nights), the Chihuahuas are the overwhelming choice for families to enjoy a night out. Laugh, dine, shop, cool off under some dancing fountains, maybe leave with a freebie or two and, oh yeah – enjoy a baseball game.
