El Paso’s newest bistro is located inside the Coronado Tower (previous home of KFOX) with a large outdoor patio area and a surprisingly great view. Sleek interior design, ample lighting and suspender-clad servers create a balance between sophistication and humor.
Various cocktails and draught beers are available, but if you settle on just water, you can choose lemons, cucumbers or berries to mix in. Appetizers include artichoke hummus and corn dogs made of sausage. Complimentary garlic bread and vanilla butter make for an interesting flavor combination before the meal.
A bit of regional flare is present throughout the menu. Burgers come topped with a chile torreado, one pizza comes with three different chiles, and migas are served at brunch. Most entrees are served on wooden cutting boards rather than plates, while rosemary parmesan fries come in small tin pails. French dishes are also available, like the Tuna Nicoise salad (grilled Ahi tuna, potato, arugula, haricot vert, deviled egg, and anchovy dressing), Steak Frites (ribeye with Bernaise sauce and fries), or Chicken Paillard with brie zucchini gratin.
Stop in during French Tuesdays for crepes, cheese platters, and creme brulee. Wednesdays feature martinis named after characters from the popular show, Mad Men. Brunch is served weekends from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
