Rozz Williams of Christian Death

No April foolin’ – Arkham returns to The Perch this Saturday, April 1. For the first time in a while, the Goth night is 18 plus, giving the younger crowd a chance to join in on the ghoulish fun.

A counterculture staple that goes back to the late ’90s, Arkham Goth nights were established by lifelong friends Lindy Hernandez and Erich King. The two DJ at the monthly event, going by the names Lady Die and Spooky Doom, respectively.

Joining them this Saturday will be St. Jack while King’s witch house group D3ATH H3X will release their latest CD.

The night will also pay tribute to Christian Death’s Rozz Williams, who died on April 1, 1998. The late vocalist and musician’s band is credited with being a pioneer of the death rock and Gothic rock scenes.

Prepare to shake to a night of tunes fueled with industrial rock and electronic body music. The $5 show starts at 9 p.m. The Perch is located at 209 S. El Paso St. above Tricky Falls.
