I Voted

Don't forget to vote this Saturday, May 6! The positions up for election include the mayor, city representatives and municipal court judges.

Andrea Ramirez

Andrea Ramirez: Well it really just depends on what district you’re in, who your city council member is. Of course, our mayor represents everybody. But I think change is good. So a new face, new thoughts, new innovation. I think we really can’t go wrong.

Emily Rosales Baca

Emily Rosales Baca: I hope the newly elected officials will continue to bring growth to El Paso. To attract more talent, keep some of our kids here [and let people know] there’s entertainment here – exciting things to do when you’re done with your work week. Then they’re more likely to come live here, work here and bring their talents here.

Robert Femath

Robert Femath: It would be good for the city to move forward, have us grow economically – like this new arena we’re having. Probably get some more sports teams. Things like that.

Ruben Ahedo

Ruben Ahedo: Leadership and vision for El Paso, and then to maintain the road to prosperity in the areas of economic development. Workforce development – that’s a huge area. Making El Paso appealing for people that go away. Not only for people, but for other companies to come to El Paso and establish themselves here.
